Introduction
A mine in Zambia is looking for a General foreman Auto-Electrical (Engineering) - Mechanised Mining (Trackless Equipment) for 6 months, with the option of extending the Contract.
Minimum Requirement
Proof of qualification as a forman, skills and experience
Auto-electrician qualification is a must in a Mechanised Mining enviroment
Fault finding and Diagnostics experience a requirement
Must be able to fulfill all duties of a General Forman in a current operational section
Proof of qualificaiton to maintain Atlas Copco, Barlow and Sandvik machines must be supplied
A valid certificate of fitness and must be ableto pass a medical examination
Valid SADC drivers license and sober habits
Valid passport
Job Specification
- Managing the safe operations of a full fleet of mechanised equipment.
- Ensuring the availability of the equipment, coordination of all work being done in the workshop and the working faces.
- Ensuring all reporting structures are maintained, breakdowns are reported in time and personnel deployed in time.
- Ensuring all spares are procured and distributed in time to maintain the availability of the fleet.
