Part 1 of the Risk Management Qualification is targeted at all persons who require a general background introduction to various aspects of a SHEQ management system. The purpose of Part 1 is to provide the learner with insight, knowledge and understanding of the topics below. A fundamental understanding of the topics is vital as the learner has to interpret and apply concepts learned in these modules to Part 2 of the Risk Management Qualification. Modules include the following:

- Introduction to Health and Safety Representatives/ Committees
- Introduction to Safe Behaviour Management

Part 2 of the Risk Management Qualification is
targeted at all Supervisors and Safety Officers. The purpose
of Part 2 is to provide the learner with the necessary competence to
interpret, apply and manage SHEQ risks and systems on a day-to-day
basis in his/her workplace. Modules include the following:
