The South African Excellence Model

Organisations are facing increasing marketplace challenges every day. Assess your readiness to respond to those challenges by using the South African Excellence Model criteria as a framework for excellence. The criteria are designed to help organisations enhance their competitiveness through focus on results-oriented goals:
bullet

delivery of ever-improving value to customers, resulting in market-place success; and

bullet

improvement of overall company performance and capabilities.

The model is key in four ways:

bullet

As a framework to help organisations develop their Vision and Goals for the future in a tangible, measurable way.

bullet

As a framework to help organisations identify and understand the systemic nature of their business, the key linkages and cause and effect relationships.

bullet

As the basis for the South African Excellence Award (recognition).

bullet

As a diagnostic tool for assessing the current health of the organisation (known as Self Assessment).

Self Assessment

Where would your organisation score?
In the most competitive sectors, organisations with world-class business results are able to achieve scores of between 500 to 700 points out of a 1000. IRCA Global Consulting Division has developed a detailed approach and supporting documentation to guide your organisation through a process of Self Assessment.
